Husa & Zeyada is a live electronic duo born out of a spontaneous and spacey lockdown collaboration between two very different daydreamers. The project fuses Rola Zeyada’s synth-soaked bedroom pop with Adam Husa’s late-night deep house. Together, Husa & Zeyada simmer towards indie-rock electronica, draped in English and Arabic lyrics, open for experimentation.

This inward trip is also visual - in an ongoing comic parallel world, Husa & Zeyada give center-stage to the more curious and peculiar parts of their selves. Each release is accompanied by illustrated stories of the little creatures that inhabit our minds; the ones that spring from our subconscious, shaped by pressures and desires. Drawn by Amp Qenawai, these characters explore what happens when we listen to the creative monsters under our skin.

Holder is a shamelessly eclectic personality, gliding through dark grooves that are no doubt inspired by vibrations of his native Mexico City. His explorative sound dives into deep shades of house, comes full force with punchy tech beats and touches down on dubby techno pulses.

At times space invader, at times psychedelic conductor for the dancers of Black Rock Desert, the Mayan Warrior resident loves to play with crowds and melodic contrasts. When he’s not on the decks, he curates events with the Project Sound collective, hosting celebrated international artists and labels from high-energy Mexico City venues to trippy Tulum beaches.
